ON JUNE 23
the BMH Foundation hosted the
fourth annual “Honor a Caregiver” Reception,
which brings together patients and caregivers
in celebration of the excellent standard of care
at Beaufort Memorial Hospital. Patients and their
caregivers enjoyed an evening of good food and fun in
the BMH cafeteria—with a surprise performance by Te
Fab Five Sun City dancers!
How did Honor a Caregiver get its start? In recent years,
many patients have wanted to express gratitude for their
care, whether their life was saved or they felt espe-
cially reassured or comforted by someone at Beaufort
Memorial. For these reasons, the BMH Foundation
established the Honor a Caregiver Program, through
which these gifts are accepted and recognized.
Gifts to the Foundation are an integral part of
promoting excellent care. Te generosity received
through the program provides resources for
improved technologies and services. As a bonus,
this program nurtures the compassion and goodwill
of caregivers and community members alike. Te reception
is an exciting event for medical caregivers and patients to
come together to celebrate the excellent healthcare here
in Beaufort County.
At Beaufort Memorial Hospital, caregivers strive every
day to exceed standards and provide all patients with excellent
service. From the admission specialists and unit secretaries to the
nurses, therapists, and doctors—everyone at BMH shares the goal
of providing all patients excellent and compassionate care.
